Viridiana joined the IBR team in February 2021, taking on the role of Research Assistant for the FAMLI, LeSA, and SUHRI studies. Prior to joining IBR, she contributed to Tarrant County Juvenile Services, serving in roles such as institutional probation officer, juvenile supervision officer, console control officer, and secretary for court intake pre-supervision. Trained in Trauma Informed Care and a Trust Based Relational Intervention Practitioner, Viridiana holds an undergraduate degree in criminal justice from Texas Wesleyan University and a paralegal certificate from Texas Christian University. Currently pursuing her master’s degree in social work at Texas Christian University, she is committed to aiding children and families impacted by varying levels of trauma, guiding them through healing processes, and fostering meaningful connections.
