Dr. Villaire earned her Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from TCU and works as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the IBR. Her research focuses on HIV prevention among individuals involved in the criminal justice system, with a particular emphasis on using education as a prevention tool. She has developed a strong foundation in experimental design, with a focus on qualitative research methods, and her work advances the understanding of HIV prevention, education, and health issues within the criminal justice system. Stephanie has contributed to several collaborative research projects within the field of psychology. She is passionate about teaching and student mentorship and is dedicated to promoting evidence-based practices that enhance healthcare access and improve public health outcomes.
