Mikala joined the IBR team in January 2024 as an Administrative Research Assistant on the ACTION project. Mikala was previously a Special Education teacher for Rusk ISD and Fort Worth ISD for six years and graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with her bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Special Education.
