Christy Wooten joined the IBR in November of 2022 as a Public Health Research Associate for the FAMLI project. She is licensed as a Master of Social Work and a Chemical Dependency Counselor. She has worked in various social work positions with a focus on youth services and substance use treatment. Christy is also a former award-winning newspaper photographer. She said she is excited to be on this research project because it focuses on helping youth and families overcome barriers to services.
