Talia is a senior pursuing a B.S. in Philosophy with a minor in Psychology and is a student in the Pre-Health Professions Institute. She is a TCU Chancellor’s Scholar and McNair Scholar.

Talia joined the Institute of Behavioral Research (IBR) in January 2024 as a qualitative researcher for the ACTION and Beauty Shop studies. She has also been part of the SOAR Lab since September 2023, working with a team on the “Attitudes Towards Narcan in Tarrant County” study, which won Best Undergraduate Poster in the Department of Psychology at the 2023 TCU College of Science & Engineering Student Research Symposium.

Outside of IBR, Talia is the founder of The Monarch Institute, a nonprofit dedicated to serving as a network and education hub for students interested in the science of healthy living and preventive medicine. She has also contributed to research in the departments of anesthesiology, philosophy, and sociology. Additionally, she is involved with CALM studies, an applied contemplative studies organization at TCU, where she has led multiple projects.

Talia is currently applying to graduate school and is interested in preventive medicine, chronic disease, systems change, and organizational structure design. She is passionate about multidisciplinary studies, program implementation, and community-based participatory research.
