Sanjana joined the IBR in January 2020. She is a graduate of Rice University in Health Sciences and the UT Health Science Center at Houston with her MPH in Management, Policy, and Community Health. As a graduate student, she worked as a data collector on the project WE RISE: Women’s Experiences of Re-entry after Incarceration, a Systematic Evaluation. She also created her own 200-hour service project on mental health in the South Asian community as a public health Albert Schweitzer Fellow in the Houston-Galveston area. She serves as a Public Health Research Associate and collaborates on several of the IBR’s NIDA-funded projects at the institute.
