Renee joined the IBR team in January 2023 as a Research Assistant on the ACTION and SURHI studies. Before joining the IBR, Renee spent 8 years in the military and worked as a Field Artillery Surveyor and Meteorologist. After leaving the military in March 2020, she attended TCU where she later earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Minor in Child Development. Renee first gained research experience while working as an RA in the Neuroscience department at TCU. She worked in a vivarium that was dedicated to investigating genetic influences on communication disorders and plasticity.
